At MC Sarıkaya Gıda, we source from various production regions across Turkey; this network is not a fixed or closed list, but an open structure that can expand depending on product and season.
Each region has its own specialty: the Mediterranean coastal belt (Mersin, Adana, Antalya, Hatay) is, thanks to its mild winters, the center of citrus and greenhouse vegetable growing (tomato, pepper, eggplant). The Aegean region (İzmir, Manisa, Aydın) is ideal for table grapes, figs, and olives thanks to its hot, dry summers and well-drained soils; Bursa, with its temperate climate, stands out for pear and peach cultivation.
The transitional zones of Central Anatolia and the eastern Mediterranean tell a different story: Isparta's higher, cooler interior meets the chilling requirement apples need, while Malatya's continental climate (cold winters, hot dry summers) makes it one of the world's leading apricot production centers. Uşak, meanwhile, has a long-standing tradition of quince cultivation. This geographic diversity means that a climate issue in one region (frost, drought) doesn't affect the entire supply.
