Trust rooted in the land since the 1940s
The story of MC Sarıkaya Gıda began in the 1940s, when our family elders sold fresh fruit and vegetables from a pushcart in the streets and neighborhood markets of Istanbul. That trade built a family culture rooted in honesty and trust; over the years it grew from street vending into wholesale trade, gaining experience at the Zeytinburnu Market in the 1960s and 1970s.
In 1997, when the Istanbul Bayrampaşa Fruit and Vegetable Market opened, our family's wholesale operations moved there as well. Gül Tarım Ürünleri, a separate, independent company of the same family, still operates today at unit No: 304 of the Istanbul Bayrampaşa Fruit and Vegetable Market, continuing to supply fresh fruit and vegetables across Turkey.
MC Sarıkaya Gıda, born of this same heritage, is a fresh fruit and vegetable trading company that carries carefully selected produce from Turkey's diverse growing regions to markets at home and abroad, guided by a commitment to quality, trust, and sustainable trade.
Our History at a Glance
